Bedrooms

The property provides comfortable sleeping accommodation for up to five guests.

The main bedroom benefits from its own private en-suite shower room, offering additional comfort and privacy.

The bedrooms provide storage for clothes and personal belongings, with fresh bed linen, bath towels and hand towels supplied for all guests.

Bathrooms and WC

One of Lingla's standout features is its convenient bathroom arrangement, particularly for families and groups staying together.

The main bedroom features a private en-suite shower room.

The separate family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead shower, ideal for a refreshing shower or relaxing soak after a day exploring.

An additional ground-floor WC provides extra convenience when sharing the property.

Living Room

The welcoming living room provides a comfortable space to relax after a day exploring West Cumbria or the Lake District.

With comfortable seating and a TV, it's a lovely place to unwind and spend time together.

Guests are welcome to sign in to their own streaming accounts where supported.

Parking for Two Cars

One of Lingla's main advantages is its generous parking provision.

Two private parking spaces are available at the property, providing convenient parking for families and groups travelling in separate vehicles.

Additional free on-street parking is available nearby, subject to availability. Street spaces cannot be reserved or guaranteed.

Exploring Frizington and West Cumbria

Lingla is situated in Frizington, a Cumbrian village conveniently located for exploring the western Lake District and surrounding countryside.

The nearby area offers scenic walking routes, traditional villages and easy access to some of Cumbria's most beautiful landscapes.

Whitehaven is within reach by car, offering a picturesque historic harbour, shops, cafés, traditional pubs and restaurants.

Enjoy a stroll around Whitehaven's waterfront, visit The Beacon Museum to discover the area's history or explore the town's maritime connections at The Rum Story.

The coastal village of St Bees is also a lovely destination, with its beach, dramatic sandstone cliffs and scenic coastal walks overlooking the Irish Sea.

Exploring the Western Lake District

Lingla is particularly well placed for exploring the quieter western side of the Lake District.

Ennerdale Water is a wonderful nearby destination, offering peaceful lakeside walks, spectacular mountain scenery and opportunities to experience the natural beauty of the western fells.

Loweswater, Crummock Water and Buttermere are also fantastic destinations for scenic drives, walking, photography and sightseeing.

For a family day out, Muncaster Castle and the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway offer memorable experiences.

Keswick and Derwentwater provide further opportunities for lakeside walks, boat trips, shopping and exploring the northern Lake District.

Before Your Stay

Guests are required to complete our disclosed pre-arrival requirements, including accepting our rental agreement and completing identity verification.

Security Deposit and Damage Protection

Before check-in, guests are required to choose one of two options:

• A refundable £150 security deposit, processed as a temporary card pre-authorisation. The hold is released following checkout provided no charges are due.

• A £25 non-refundable damage waiver, covering up to £150 of qualifying accidental damage, subject to the waiver terms and exclusions.

Guests can choose whichever option suits them best. Both options are arranged securely through our guest portal before arrival.

Full check-in instructions are normally provided approximately 24 hours before arrival once all required pre-arrival steps have been completed.
